In asking me to write about something that I am passionate about there are many things that I could choose from. I could tell you about how much I enjoy music or good food. I could talk for hours about the books that I’ve read that have changed my life. I could weave a good story for you from my weeks spent traveling in countries like Germany and Morocco. But if I had to pick the one thing that I am most passionate about and that I could honestly never run out of things to say, or learn for that matter, it would be Jesus.
Having an outlet such as this to share with anyone willing to read it is something to be taken advantage of. This subject is so valuable to me that I am thankful to be able to share my stories to anyone that will listen. If you are reading this and you only take one thing from this string of words on a screen, I want it to be that having this man as your friend and keeping him dear in your heart you are in for such an adventure that at times you will feel like the things that happen can’t be real, but at the same time they definitely can’t be made up.
It fills me with joy to label myself as a writer, but also with fear. Fear of reader expectations. But I will put these fears aside and give you, the reader, the best of me in hopes that you can read my stories and hear my unaffected, sincere, and unpretentious voice. This blog is, in the grand scheme of things, all about how Jesus loves. He loves unconditionally and with steadfast effort and I am excited to share with you how he does this in my life every day.
